El Mar de Oro Ballet Folklorico de David Chavez was started on September 1st of 2017.While this dance company is young and still growing El Mar de Oro B.F. has grown exponentially. With in the first year we have grown to approximately 30 students ranging from ages 3 all the way to adults.

El Mar de Oro Ballet Folklorico is here to show Mexican folklore dance to our students in a fun, energetic, and positive way. Every class we focus on stretching and warm ups, this help the students with their basic steps, posture and choreography. We want to create well-rounded dancers and built them up so they dance at a professional level. We also have two yearly studio performances that happen at the end of summer and in December, showcasing what the students have learned throughout the year.

Here at El Mar de Oro we aren’t just a dance company but a family of dancers and parents that come together every Friday and Saturday. We may have many different reasons for coming but one that we all share is the love we have for our Danza and the beauty  and happiness that it brings us and the community when we perform.
